National Health Collaborative on Violence and Abuse

Why Join NHCVA?

We make it easier for medical and public health groups to engage in targeted and strategic federal advocacy related to the health impact of violence and abuse.

We welcome medical and public health organizations who are interested in working on bipartisan policy to prevent and address violence and abuse at every age and life stage.

What Members Get?

NHCVA members benefit from ongoing issue updates, timely opportunities to engage on relevant policy issues, and connection to a community of partners with complementary expertise.

Among the materials and activities we organize for coalition members are:
  • Letters, fact sheets, and policy updates
  • Meetings with policymakers and their staff
  • Quarterly coalition meetings for sharing information and coordinating collaboration
